Neil studied medicine at Cambridge University and Edinburgh University Medical School. After working as a doctor he left medicine to pursue a career in music as an opera singer, violinist and musical director. In 2004 he discovered the work of Anat Baniel. He recognized its strong neurological foundation and potential for transforming rehabilitation and decided to train as an Anat Baniel Method NeuroMovement(r) practitioner. Since qualifying in 2007 Neil has collaborated with Anat Baniel in her center in San Rafael. Neil specializes in working with children with special needs, musicians, and adults with traumatic brain injury. He assists in teaching the professional training programs and partners with Anat in research. He continues to have a busy life as a musician in the Bay Area as a violinist and singer.
